Two ways to book
Book a published trip
Some drivers publish fixed-price trips. Pick one, choose your date and pay online to confirm.
Request your own route
Enter your pickup, destination, date and group size. Verified drivers send you a price for the whole vehicle; you get an email for each offer, compare them and accept the one you want.
After you book
- Pay securely online by card: your driver is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through.
- Chat with your driver in the app to agree the exact pickup point (riads often need a nearby gate or square).
- We email you a reminder 24 hours and 2 hours before departure.
- Your driver is paid after the trip, and you can leave a review to help other travelers.
How prices work
- Prices are for your private vehicle, not per seat.
- The price you see is the price you pay: the platform fee is already included.
- Cancelling before you pay costs nothing.
Questions travelers ask
Is Kalonca a tour operator?
No. Kalonca is a marketplace of verified private drivers. The driver provides the transport; guides and desert camps are booked separately.
How are drivers verified?
Drivers upload their ID, driving licence, vehicle registration and insurance, which our team reviews before they can offer trips.
Can I book a multi-day trip?
Yes. Send a request with your dates and stops, or keep the same driver after your first booking.
What if my flight is delayed?
Share your flight number with your driver in the chat so the pickup time can follow your real arrival.
